An Indian Tea Party

A Walwicayapi, or Indian tea party, will be given at Ponemah, the Indian Girls’ School of the Lincoln Institute, on next Tuesday, from 3 to 10 P.M. Through the courtesy of Messrs. Crump the band from Devon Inn will perform during the evening. The supper and fancy tables will be in the building Tepee, or Indian tents, will be erected on the ground a tent of Indian work, a tent containing many curious animals, kindly loaned by C.H. Colket, who collected them while abroad at great expense. Rebecca’s Well and many attractions will be arranged to give pleasure to the visitors. The ground will be beautifully illuminated. Omnibus will meet all trains from 3 to 10 pm from Wayne Station. Tickets can be secured at Wayne Station. The committee in charge of the affair is the Mesdames Edward __ Wood, A.C. Gallup, C.W. Stouffer, Howard Clar, Jr., Henry C. Gibson, Andrew Wheeler, Wayne MacVeagh, George Phillier, James H. Campbell, Henry Sayen, Wayne; Hughes, Radnor; Stocker, Radnor W.F. Hall and the Misses Handy, Erben and Smith.
