1893 – Employment Committee report 5 bakers, 3 tailors, 4 harness makers, 2 blacksmiths, 2 carpenters, 5 engineers, 2 shoemakers, 1 butcher, 1 printer, 1 stationer; total 26 boys

1894 – 1 blacksmith, 1 piano maker, 2 harness makers, 2 carpenters, 2 shoemakers (external), 1 printer, 7 shoemakers (internal), 6 engineers, 5 bakers, 2 tailors, 21 farming; total 50 boys
