Radnor Monthly Meeting 1812 -

6/11/1812 Valley Prepartives mention the request of our members in Charlestown to be indulged with a meeting to be held at their Schoolhouse every other first day ? The meeting after weighing the subject concluded to indulge their request. Said meeting to be held the first time on the 21st of this month at the 11th hour and to continue for 6 months. The following Friends are appointed to attend that meeting to wit: William Llewellyn, James Jones, Jacob Maule, Amos ?, Edward George, Jonathan Cleaver, Thomas J. Walker, and Abner ?

1/14/1813 Queries 3rd: A considerable number of friends are concerned, and we trust in good ? careful to bring up those under their direction in plainness and to ? the reading of the Holy Scriptures - yet we believe more watchful case in the several respects mentioned in this Query would be profitable.

[10/12/1814: William Roberts named, presumeably before his stroke.]

3/9/1815 Thomas Matlack requests a certificate for himself, his wife Rebecca (nee Roberts) and their son, William to Uwchlan Monthly meeting.

[4/6/1815 Daniel & Cornelius Conard, Joseph Roberts, Thomas George as trustees for the Charlestown meeting purchased 2 acres from Enoch Walker for meetinghouse and graveyard1].

5/8/1817 Joseph and Maria Conard request certifcate to transfer to Uwchlan Monthly Meeting.

7/10/1817 Certificate received for John Roberts from Richland Monthly Meeting. Jesse Conard requests certifcate for Birmingham Monthly Meeting.

4/9/1818 Joseph Roberts among those appointed as representatives to the Quarterly Meeting. Cornelius Conard requests certificate for himself and children to New Garden Monthly Meeting.

11/12/1818 A certificate for Thomas Roberts from Richland meeting was produced [son of Israel, brother of Lewis].

11/22/1821 Report: that after frequent opportunities had with the? and offering such counsel and advice as we were from time to time favoured with, are now united in believing, that it would be reasonable to leave said Meeting under the imediate case and superintendence of the Hand of the Church

2/14/1822 The Valley Preparative Meeting represents, that Lewis Roberts has accomplished his Marriage with the assistance of a Magistrate with a woman not in membership with Friends.

4/11/1822 Lewis Roberts has been visited since last meeting by Friends appointed, and he ? attending to produce a paper which was read, expressing his sorrow for his deviation, which on consideration, the Meeting appears ready to accept. William Roberts and Daniel Conard are appointed to inform him thereof.

5/9/1822 Extracts from the minutes of the Yearly Meeting were received and read, the weighty subjects therein contained claiming deliberate consideration, it was ? painful exercise to observe the many differencies among us - a hope is entertained that faithful Friends throughout our limits may feel the necessity of labouring in Gospel love for the removal of those deviating that obstruct the advancement of the ? truth that the health and real welfare of the Body may thereby be promoted.

9/11/1826 Daniel Conard and Sarah Roberts requests certificate to remove to Morris River, New Jersey monthly meeting.

9/8/1827 At Quarterly Meeting held in Philadelphia on the 6th and 7th of the 8th month 1827.
A Report in writing being received from the committee was read, and on deliberate consideration approved: It is cause of deep concern for many minds that any of the Members of Radnor Quarterly Meeting, so far as disregard the salutary rules of our Disciplines as to attempt the subversion of the order of our Religious Society; and to their own great injury and loss reisst the Humbling power of Truth, which would preserve out of all Tumult and discord, and bond us together in the Bond of Christian fellowship. As it is on deliberation believed a expedient that the preparative Meetings of Merion, Haverford, and the Valley be laid down, this Meeting recommends to the monthly meeting to procedd therein
