JESSE ROBERTS () Wife, Martha Green, was a granddaughter of John Roberts I. Licensee of the Bull Inn 1810 - 1815. No probate or administration in Chester County. In 1822 was living in Norristown when he purchased additional land in Charlestown. Purchased tracts of land in 1812 and 1822, part of the Joseph Barnes disposition in Valley Forge. The tracts were on the south side of Oakwood Lane near the Paul Lemen drive. He also purchased a tract of 16 acres in 1815, jointly with Jesse Jarrett. Linked to the 'Schulkill Township Roberts' through marriage (husband of Martha Green, whose grandfather was John Roberts I).
