J. Howard Mecke Jr., Rites Tomorrow

J. Howard Mecke, Jr., widely known Main Line real estate man and builder, died of a heart attack Sunday night at his home, Derwent rd., Cynwyd. He was 45.

Mr. Mecke was active in the development of parts of the 69th st. section and also developed Colonial Village in Wayne. At the time of his death he was building homes in Cynwyd.

Mr. Mecke is survived by his wife, the former Marie J. McClatchy; seven children, two brothers and a sister. Solemn Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 10 A. M. tomorrow in St. Matthias Church, Bala. Burial will be in Westminister Cemetery.
