Valley Farm for SalePursuant to an order from the Orphans’ court of Chester county will be exposed to public sale, a Saturday the third day of January next, at 1 o’clock in the afternoon, on the premises, a valuable plantation, of limestone land, late the property of Dr. John Davis, dec. situate in Tredyffrin township, Chester Co. about 16 miles from the city of Philadelphia, one and a half miles north of the Spread Eagle tavern - adjoining lands of Dr. William Harris and others, containing 162 3/4 acres, about 30 of which are woodland, the remainder in a good state of cultivation, having a lime kiln and limestone quarries on the same - the buildings are a large stone house, barn part stone, a new stone Waggon-house, a stone spring house over a never failing spring of water.
